The Role
As Creative Lead, you'll be the guardian of our brand identity, championing and guiding our internal teams and agency partners to develop bold and memorable design. You'll take ownership of our brand guidelines and creative outputs across British Gas and Hive retail businesses, as well as oversee the development of our Centrica masterbrand.
Key Responsibilities
- Set high standards for quality and creativity, providing leadership and guidance to internal teams.
- Develop clear brand identities and guidelines across our businesses that are understood and used consistently.
- Shape and own our brand architecture across Centrica.
- Develop distinctive brand assets that build recognition and equity.
- Manage and execute design requests across business units, working with internal design support and agency partners.
- Own projects from concept to delivery of final assets.
- Develop and run creative forums for review and sign off creatives across brands.
- Manage a small team of designers and brand managers, providing guidance and support.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in consumer brands.
- A portfolio of well-conceived and beautifully executed work across multiple channels.
- A strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications and experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, and Frontify.
- Strong design skills, including logos, icons, illustrations, typography, art direction, and animations.
- Management experience, comfortable with leading creative teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work with people at all levels.
- In-house experience preferred.
