Early Years SEND Specialist

We are seeking an Early Years SEND specialist to join our team at a leading SEND school in Lambeth, London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to work with young children who require additional support.
As an Early Years SEND specialist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons for children with various special educational needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and developmental delays.
We welcome applications from both SEND specialists and mainstream teachers who have a passion for inclusive education and want to work with young children who require additional support.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of learners.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support each child's individual learning journey.
- Assess and track pupils' progress, adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Support personal, social, and emotional development, helping children build confidence and independence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working in Early Years (either in SEND or mainstream settings).
- A genuine passion for working with young children, including those with special educational needs.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary and Benefits:
