We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join our innovative Semiconductor company, based in Northampton or Reading, with a hybrid working model.

This is a technical hands-on role that requires working closely with Tier-1 customers, startups, and other engineering teams to develop, test, and maintain embedded software for silicon projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality embedded software using C and real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring up new boards and integrate software components.
  • Optimise software performance, reliability, and power consumption.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation and technical guides.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in embedded C programming and real-time software development.
