Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Social Work and Support Services Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex social care cases, conducting regular social care and risk assessments, and providing support to service users in creating and implementing personal plans.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Social Work degree from a recognized institution and be registered with Social Work England. Experience working in mental health or social care is essential, as is a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with hospital staff and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of complex social care cases
  • Conducting regular social care and risk assessments
  • Providing support to service users in creating and implementing personal plans

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£37,000 per annum, equivalent to 33 days annual leave, free meals and parking, and wellbeing support and activities. The role is based in low and medium secure services for male patients.
