Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Automotive Technical Specialist to join our team at Micheldever Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are tested and that the company meets its obligations as an approved MOT centre, while providing excellent customer service and working efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that all vehicles are tested safely and to a high standard
  • Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements
  • Complete fast fit tyre fitting, including the use of an alignment machine
  • Fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products
  • Adhere to company procedures on the use of vehicle inspection sheets
  • Make customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle

Requirements:

  • Mechanic's Level 3 qualification or a valid MOT Licence
  • Experience in tyre fitting, brake, cam belt, clutch, and exhaust fitting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in a professional workshop environment
  • Ability to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Willingness to constantly learn and improve knowledge
  • Ability to act on own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of work
