About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties.

The role involves developing and implementing psychologically informed practice based on best clinical and professional evidence, as well as holding a caseload of patients with varying levels of complexity. You will also be responsible for undertaking risk assessments and risk management of individuals presenting with vulnerability, self-harm, and/or physical, sexual or emotional harm to themselves or others.

The successful candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and be eligible for registration as a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. They will also have experience of multi-agency and multi-disciplinary working, as well as conducting clinically relevant research.
