Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled English Game Tester to join our team at 2K. As a key member of our Linguistic Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our games by testing and reviewing in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play and test games to identify linguistic bugs and report them using a bug database.
  • Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness, and its accordance to cultural rules.
  • Learn and follow our LQA process and professional standards.
  • Use industry-standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports.
  • Ensure that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in European Portuguese.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, tenacious, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Focus on quality and keen eye for detail.
  • Good computer skills, including word processing, database handling, and MS Office Suite.
