About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at a forward-thinking community school in Brent. The ideal candidate will have experience working with early years or primary-aged children and a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Implementation: Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework, promoting positive interactions and helping children develop essential social skills.
  2. Learning Environment: Ensure the learning environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning, supporting the class teacher in planning and organizing learning materials.
  3. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document students' progress, sharing updates with teachers and parents.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with early years or primary-aged children.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
