The London Market Claims team is a dynamic group driven by innovation and excellence. We are seeking an experienced Claims Expert to join our team, working closely with Senior Claims Underwriters and the Claims Manager on complex claims.
About the Role:
As a Claims Expert, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of claims arising from the Marine and Energy Liability underwriting team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Senior Claims Underwriters on more complex claims
- Participating in claims lifecycle reviews to drive down static claim volumes and values
- Working with underwriters and claims colleagues to add value and build our presence internally
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 3 years' experience in the Marine and/or Energy Liability claims market. You should possess good mathematical skills and report writing abilities. Additionally, you must be able to analyze complex issues while being pragmatic, commercial, and solution-oriented.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a supportive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
