About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to support our teachers and other support staff in delivering the curriculum and creating a nurturing environment for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their skills and confidence, and make significant progress in their education.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare learning materials and lead classroom activities to engage students and promote learning
- Provide emotional and physical support to students, including those with complex SEMH needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver the curriculum and create a positive learning environment
Requirements
- GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with SEN students and in a school setting
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work flexibly as needed

- A competitive salary of £22,300 - £25,029 per annum, dependent on experience
