About the Role:

IMC Locums is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team in London. As an acute care specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality interventions to patients with complex needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize evidence-based practices to provide ADL training, cognitive rehabilitation, mobility enhancement, and environmental adaptation.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records in accordance with clinic standards and professional guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and efficient discharge planning.
  • Provide training and education for patients and their families on post-discharge activities and self-management strategies.
  • Lead clinical supervision and mentorship sessions for junior OTs, therapy assistants, and students.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, with full HCPC registration in the UK.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting, with exposure to complex case management.

About You:

  • Possess a specialization in neurological rehabilitation, cognitive therapy, or hand therapy (desirable).
  • Have previous experience in a private healthcare setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality, client-focused care (desirable).
