Commercial Property Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team in Essex. As a Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring that they are maintained to a high standard and that clients are satisfied with the service they receive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, including residential agency, commercial ventures, lettings, financial services, professional survey work, new builds, and land development.
  • Liaise with clients and potential clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Have experience of commercial property software and be able to use it to manage property records and track rent collection and arrears.
  • Deal with landlord and tenant issues, including property inspections and managing works and contractors.
  • Manage and reconcile service charges and ensure that property records are up to date.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the department and provide excellent customer service to clients.

Requirements:

  • Have an understanding and experience of relevant commercial legislation, including Landlord and Tenant Act law.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
