About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at AWD online. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of health, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and drinks to students and staff.
  • Set up and dismantle eating areas, including tables, chairs, bins, and water jugs.
  • Operate tills and cashless card systems, following strict guidelines.
  • Wash and sanitize equipment, utensils, and surfaces, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Complete cleaning duties, following daily and weekly rotas, to ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • Receive and check deliveries, ensuring quality, quantity, and temperature standards are met.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • High-quality standards of health, hygiene, and safety.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the kitchen and customers.
  • Full, clean driving license (due to potential site visits).
