We are seeking an experienced Imaging Technologist to join our team in Forth Valley. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in MRI radiography, with at least one year of UK experience.

The successful candidate will conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI scans, to ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. They will also prepare patients for these procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and obtaining informed consent.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI scans
  • Preparing patients for procedures by explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
  • Operating and maintaining radiographic equipment to ensure it functions correctly and safely
  • Assisting in the initial interpretation of images and reporting significant findings to supervising radiologists or clinicians

A relevant degree in Radiography or a related field and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) are required for this position. A minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, with experience in MRI in either NHS or private settings in the UK, is also necessary.
