About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our community mental health service for older people, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of older adults with mental health needs
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide support and guidance to carers and loved ones
  • Participate in cognitive assessments and contribute to the duty system as required
  • Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to the development of the team
