Enisca is seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to lead our clean water design projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of design projects, from outline design to construction support.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership
- Take lead responsibility for managing and coordinating design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to client specifications and standards.
- Directly manage a team of multidisciplinary design engineers to produce design outputs compliant with client requirements.
- Design Management
- Manage specialist external design resources as required.
- Prepare and agree on fee proposals, programs, and resource management to ensure the design team delivers in line with financial approvals and program.
- Design Development
- Produce and manage a program for all design projects, ensuring client expectations are suitably managed.
- Carry out site scoping/survey visits as required to obtain necessary information for design development.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure all design is developed, produced, and approved in line with Enisca's QA procedures.
- Review, audit, and approve technical reports, appraisals, designs, and drawings to ensure compliance with client health and safety and technical standards.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Arrange and chair workshops and regular design meetings to review design proposals and progress.
- Assist with placement and management of procurement packages.
- Support project managers and directors within the business.
- Professional Development
- Keep up-to-date with technical and HSQE matters, and be aware of policy and developments in these areas.
- Present technical data or project results to both technical and non-technical clients and colleagues.
