Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett And Game Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large infrastructure projects and be proficient in NEC 3 Option A Contract. Responsibilities include preparing internal commercial reports, valuations, and cost reports, as well as administering subcontractor accounts. Responsibilities: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the project team to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing internal commercial reports and valuations
  • Administering subcontractor accounts and finalizing agreements
  • Managing change orders and maintaining associated registers
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities for value engineering
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction contracts, including NEC 3 Option A, and experience using CEMAR. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, applicants should have a relevant industry qualification, general civil engineering experience, and commercially astute knowledge of standard forms of contract and methods of measurement. They must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and have experience using CEMAR. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this position.
