We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Cafe Murano, a renowned Italian restaurant group led by the esteemed Angela Hartnett. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cooking and a desire to further develop their knowledge and culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and teaching a team of skilled chefs to produce consistently high-quality dishes that showcase the best of Italian cuisine. Your experience in managing food safety and health & safety procedures will be invaluable in maintaining our exceptional standards. You will also be expected to control ordering, costing, and stock levels while possessing excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and suppliers.

A minimum of one year's experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role is essential, along with a solid understanding of food safety and health & safety procedures. Additionally, experience working with fresh pasta and Italian cuisine is highly desirable. We welcome candidates with a great work ethic and a positive can-do attitude, as we prioritize attitude over experience.

- An estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
