Automotive Painter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Painter to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. In this role, you will be responsible for painting and refinishing commercial parts using HVLP equipment, adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing surfaces for paint application and ensuring proper surface adherence.
  • Applying 'wet on wet' techniques to produce parts that meet all quality and conformity standards.
  • Mixing and matching paint to precise specifications.
  • Operating and maintaining low-bake ovens.
  • Taking ownership of product quality within your area.
  • Identifying and correcting any defects.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 or IMI qualification in automotive refinishing.
  • Strong knowledge of paint application techniques.
  • Familiarity with low-bake ovens and drying techniques.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety processes.
