Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Braintree. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and keen to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students with varying needs.
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess student progress.
  • Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans.
  • Encourage and motivate students, promoting positive learning behaviours.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
