Job Description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behaviour Buddy to work with pupils in the BB11 area. The successful candidate will work on a full or half day basis, challenging and motivating pupils, reinforcing self-esteem and providing pastoral support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils with SEN.
  • Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to ensure a cohesive approach to behaviour support.
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEN, adjusting approach as needed to meet their changing needs.
  • Contribute to raising achievement and attendance by providing targeted support to pupils.
  • Understand and follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the welfare of children.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
  • Ability to work well with the classroom teacher and other support staff.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality support to pupils.
  • Reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of the school.
  • Enhanced DBS check and child protection training.
