About the Role

VetPlus is looking for a skilled Veterinary Pharmaceutical Field Support Representative to support our Area Sales Managers and veterinary practices in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to Area Sales Managers, internal and external customers, and present training sessions to key influencers.
  • Training: Deliver training programs for new starters, existing staff, and external partners. Conduct regular technical tests and provide support via phone and email.
  • Field Visits: Visit each Area Sales Manager area once a month to educate practices, accompany them on field visits, and assess their technical knowledge.
  • Veterinary Shows: Manage our technical presence at key veterinary events, engage with delegates and speakers, and document meetings.
  • Marketing Support: Develop and improve technical training formats, collaborate with the Quality Department, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
  • Reporting: Submit regular activity reports, prepare for meetings, and log activities on CRM.
  • Cultural Development: Review departmental activities, share best practices, and contribute to company culture development.
About You:
  1. Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine/surgery.
  2. Experience: At least two years of experience as a vet in practice, preferably with some work in the veterinary pharmaceutical field. RCVS Registered.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity, and flexibility. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Attributes: Customer-focused, honest, and committed to delivering high-quality services.
