A competitive package awaits a Senior or Principal grade Ornithologist to join Access Talent Group in Oxford, with remote working options available. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team delivering projects on renewables and wind farm developments.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in delivering similar projects, excellent bird ID skills and the ability to demonstrate a range of ornithology survey techniques. Key tasks include conducting ornithological impact assessments and writing EIA chapters for ornithology.
To be considered, you should have:
- A degree in Ecology, Biological Science or similar and CIEEM membership
- Previous experience designing and delivering bird survey programmes
- Experience with other species would be advantageous (e.g. Bats, habitats, terrestrial mammals)
- A full UK driver's license
The successful candidate can expect an attractive starting salary of around £60,000 per annum, including car allowance and additional benefits.
