KS1 Teacher Opportunity

Wayman Education is working with a vibrant primary school in Slough seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS1 Teacher to join their team.

The school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment, and they are looking for a teacher who can drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children and promoting a conducive learning environment.
  • You will teach the Key Stage 1 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on their individual learning targets and encouraging their strengths.
  • You will further develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • You will help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • You will keep track of children's progress and report back to parents.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Ability to commute to Slough via public transport.
  • Confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
