Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Solicitor to join our team on a fully remote basis. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The Job:
- To provide legal procedural and propriety advice to senior officers, elected members or other persons or bodies
- To assist in the investigation of complaints, particularly in relation to issues raised with regulatory bodies or internal audit
- To continuously improve services in area of responsibility, identifying where possible, value for money savings and ways of managing within allocated budgets
- To remain up to date and compliant with all relevant legislation, organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with relevant post qualification experience
- Knowledge of standard form contracts such as JCT and NEC is essential
- At least 3 years of PQE
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on contractual matters
- Assist in the investigation of complaints and issues
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Stay up to date with relevant legislation and professional codes of conduct
