We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our Academy in South Chesterfield. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible Science lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the KS4 curriculum and experience teaching all aspects of Science-Biology, Physics, and Chemistry to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Additionally, they will be able to create a positive and supportive classroom environment, fostering a love of learning and curiosity in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Cover the full Science curriculum, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in all three scientific disciplines
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject
  • Experience teaching Science across all three disciplines at the secondary level
  • A strong understanding of the KS4 curriculum

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience
