Job Summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a mainstream primary school in Bolton. This full-time position involves working with pupils who require additional support, particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

The successful candidate will help students cope with challenges and work closely with teachers and support workers on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. This is an ideal opportunity for those considering a career change or with a keen interest in special needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Supporting a child with SEMH needs to reach their potential in a professional and caring manner
  • Being reliable and punctual when working individually or as part of a team
  • Planning and participating in play and youth activities

This role requires the appropriate qualifications and training. A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is also required.
