Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze weekly wage data to optimize financial performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate standard recharges, intercompany reconciliations, and P11D preparations.
  • Oversee VAT returns and compliance to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Manage accruals and prepayments to minimize financial risk.
  • Lead CIS processes to ensure correct deductions, reporting, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare monthly management accounts with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure accurate stock adjustments and valuations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead finance improvement projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Fully or near-qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), or QBE with extensive experience.
  • Strong Excel skills to analyze and present financial data.
  • Prior CIS experience is required to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Construction industry experience is preferred, but not essential; first-time movers from practice are encouraged to apply.
  • Ambitious and motivated individual with a desire to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, growth-focused company.
  • Strong financial acumen with attention to accuracy and continuous improvement.
The Package:
  • Competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Annual bonus to recognize individual and team performance.
  • Pension scheme with 6% employer contribution.
