We are seeking a highly skilled General Practice Nurse to join our team at Military Medical Personnel. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to service personnel and their families.
About the RoleThis full-time role will involve working in well-equipped medical centres, dental centres or rehabilitation units, where you will be valued as part of the Defence Medical Services team. You will deliver a professional and personal service at all times, working alongside military personnel on Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force bases.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a variety of settings
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues
To be successful in this role, you must be a registered nurse with current registration with the NMC, hold a valid Personal Identification Number (PIN) and not be subject to any restrictions of practice. You must also have a minimum of one year's post-registration experience in a Band 5 or higher grade in a Primary Healthcare setting.
You will need to hold current, valid personal medical indemnity insurance and be in date for Basic Life Support (BLS), Anaphylaxis, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Safeguarding Children and Young People and Vulnerable Adults Level 2 training.
