As a Senior Microsoft Systems Administrator, you will be working as part of our established Infrastructure Team to maintain and improve our on-prem and cloud Infrastructure.
This is a hybrid role based in our office, so you will ideally be comfortable coming into the office 2-3 times a week. If you're interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- MS System configuration and support meeting best practice, InfoSec, policy, and contractual requirements
- Systems maintenance, support, monitoring, audit, and reporting
- Reactive incident-management, monitoring, and alerting
- Proactive service improvement projects
About You
You must have enterprise Microsoft server & client skills including architecture, installation, troubleshooting, and operational maintenance. Management & optimization of AD, Azure, MS365, Hyper-V, RDS, Teams, Sharepoint, WSO, AWS, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access are also required.
A good understanding of backup technologies (Veeam), automated OS & Application Patching technologies, enterprise Storage technologies SAN, NAS (QSAN, DELL), DataCentre monitoring & out-of-band hardware management, automation & scripting (Powershell, Ansible, VB, Python) are necessary.
IT Service Management; Incident, Change & Configuration Management experience with process-driven ITSM tooling (Jira, ServiceNow or similar) is also essential.
