Job Summary:

  • Facilitate the implementation of product safety processes and deliverables.
  • Support hazard management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop safety arguments for inclusion in safety reports.
  • Organise and facilitate HAZIDs and review meetings.
  • Conduct product safety assessments against major subsystems or complex technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To develop and implement effective product safety processes and procedures.
  2. To conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
  3. To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. To maintain accurate records of safety activities and communicate results to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in a technology, engineering, science, or IT-related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional registration.
  • Experience in product safety management processes and techniques.
  • Familiarity with report writing and developing safety arguments.
