Architectural Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our busy and personable team. This role offers a competitive annual salary of £30,000 - £40,000 DOE, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with professionals and clients at an early stage to agree project briefs and ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Lead the detailed design process, coordinating design information and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with authorities, such as planning departments and building inspectors, to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Assist in the appraisal of design performance and produce maintenance management information.
Requirements:
  • Leadership skills and a willingness to take on responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with professionals, authorities, and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, RNET, and MS Project.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage workload effectively.
