CNC Miller Programmer Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a CNC Miller Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components for the Aerospace & Defence Industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components
  • Working with a variety of materials, including stainless steels, alloy steels, aluminium, brass, and plastic
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient and effective production processes
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure high-quality products
  • Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in CNC milling, specifically with Heidenhain, Mazatrol, and Fanuc controls
  • Proficiency in programming 5-axis milling machines
  • Expertise in Hypermill offline programming
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
