Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Interim SEO Manager to join our team for a 6-month period. As a key member of our Web & SEO team in Marketing, you will collaborate with content writers, web managers, and developers to ensure that our website is optimized for search engines and provides a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct keyword research and content analysis to inform web optimization strategies
  2. Identify gaps in our SEO efforts and execute growth initiatives through competitor analysis and keyword opportunities
  3. Develop and implement SEO strategies to achieve organic goals, working closely with the editorial and web teams
  4. Collaborate with the development team to ensure website content is optimized for search engines and user experience
  5. Monitor and report on search engine rankings, organic traffic, and trends, providing regular updates to stakeholders
  6. Develop automations to improve performance and drive efficiencies
  7. Manage internal tools and develop processes used for optimization
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to develop high-performing marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  2. Analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
  3. Great organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  4. Research skills and attention to detail when pulling data from multiple platforms
  5. Interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders
  6. An inquisitive nature, ability to think creatively, and be adaptable
  7. Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  8. Fluency in search engines and relevant tools

Demonstrated Experience:

  1. SEO tools such as SEMrush and Screaming Frog
  2. Analytics and monitoring including Google Search Console and GA4
  3. CMS platforms
  4. Technical SEO
  5. Google Tag Manager
  6. Core Web Vitals
  7. Business intelligence tools such as Looker
  8. Google Business
