Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

Orion Electrotech is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Electrical Maintenance Engineer to test and maintain SCADA/PLC systems for major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reactive maintenance, including call outs and fault diagnosis.
  • Act as a LV competent person or LV Authorised person for VSD's and LV panels.
  • Conduct NIC EIC inspections and testing.
  • Liaise with software engineers to assist with testing and fault finding.
  • Produce clear and concise defects and site reports.

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow and fault-find in SCADA/PLC and M&E systems.
  • Valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulation certificate.
  • Certified in Periodic inspection and Testing (C&G or equivalent - desirable).
  • Other electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, HNC or Degree.
  • ECS level 3 or equivalent.
