Payroll Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Oasis Business Personnel Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing various payrolls in a timely and accurate manner, creating and maintaining employees' payroll records, and preparing payroll reports and journals in accordance with clients' individual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process monthly, weekly, 4-weekly, and fortnightly payrolls, ensuring accurate computation of employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and tax calculations.
* Maintain strong client relationships through daily communication, answering queries about payroll, pensions, and HMRC matters.
* Handle statutory payments such as maternity and sick pay, as well as Benefits in Kind.
* Manage administrative tasks including banking, repayments, and uploading reports and payslips to software platforms.
* Ensure compliance with tax obligations and provide detailed month-end tax information to clients.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in payroll processing.
* Familiarity with IRIS software is advantageous.
* Previous experience of working in a bureau setting is beneficial but not essential.
