Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Manager to facilitate the application process for our clients. The successful candidate will act as the liaison between our clients, underwriters, and customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient journey from application to funding.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Underwriting Team: Collaborate with underwriting colleagues to ensure a smooth transition of applications.
- Manage Submissions: Accurately manage the submission process, ensuring all data entry is completed to the highest standard.
- Process Applications: Process applications from receipt of pack to submission to underwriting, completing information on relevant systems and conducting fraud prevention checks.
- Package New Applications: Package new applications received, providing an initial case assessment, reviewing assets and liabilities of the borrower, and requesting additional information as required.
- Request Consent: Request consent for second charges from existing lenders.
- Manage Pipeline: Proactively manage a pipeline of 50 cases for the underwriter to achieve completion targets, ensuring information is proactively requested from customers and third parties.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Provide customers and other stakeholders with updates and ensure required information is requested within service levels.
- Ensure Data Accuracy: Ensure all data entry and notation of systems is accurately completed and within agreed SLA for all new transactions.
- Build Relationships: Build and maintain positive working relationships with brokers, introducers, customers, and colleagues.
- Prepare Instructions: Prepare valuation, asset manager/project monitoring surveyor, and legal instructions for the underwriter.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to minimizing customer effort and maximizing business goals.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in an administration role.
- Property Knowledge: Understanding of property and a desire to develop a career in the specialist finance industry.
- Customer Focus: Understanding of what a good customer outcome looks like.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and a keen attention to detail.
- Planning and Organization: Excellent planning and organizational skills that enable cases to be funded in the optimum timeframe.
- Team Player: A team player with a positive attitude.
