Contracts Manager - New Build Social Housing

£55,000 - £65,000 + Package

Manchester

A leading Regional Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various new build social housing projects across the Greater Manchester area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Organise and control site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  2. Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure high standards are met.
  3. Manage costs and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  4. Develop and implement Health, Safety & Environmental procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  5. Coordinate pre and post-contract planning and coordination to ensure smooth project delivery.
  6. Monitor production levels and take necessary action to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  7. Ensure site setup and presentation are maintained throughout the contract duration.
  8. Manage production and programme to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  9. Liaise with sales and customer teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Liaise with external agencies to ensure smooth project delivery.
  11. Coordinate drawings and specifications to ensure projects are delivered to the required standard.
  12. Ensure compliance with contractual responsibilities.
Requirements:
  1. Strong track record of managing multiple projects concurrently of various sizes and at different stages, delivered on time and to budget.
  2. Background in overseeing new build residential projects.
  3. Excellent all-round construction knowledge and experience.
  4. Strong understanding of UK building regulations.
  5. Excellent management skills with the ability to get the best out of full site teams.
  6. Full UK drivers' license.
