Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Enfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success of students and contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities, promoting student participation and motivation.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth, and helping to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to classroom management, ensuring a safe and organized learning environment that promotes student well-being.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers, helping to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum, with a strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting, with a proven track record of supporting student learning.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning journey of students.
