Registered Nurse - Aldeburgh Community Hospital

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will work in a 20-bedded community hospital delivering high-quality care in a rehabilitative setting.

Main Responsibilities

As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will undertake patient assessment to determine patient need, plan and implement their care with a view to ensuring the highest standard of clinical care and discharge planning to meet the needs of the patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the nursing team when acting as the most senior nurse on duty.
  • Assess patients' needs and make appropriate plans for care, implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Contribute to own development and the development of others, working in accordance with the ward philosophy for rehabilitation, and NMC Code.
Person Specification
  • Awareness and understanding of current Government/Trust initiatives/NMC Code of Conduct.
  • Current practices/trends within Medical assessment nursing.
  • Awareness of current issues within health and nursing.
Qualifications
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in medical assessment.
