Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison to Manufacturing: Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient production processes
  • ECRs Support/Witness Testing: Create and support Engineering Change Requests, witnessing testing in the lab as needed
  • Cable Assy Design: Design and create drawings for cable assemblies, including component modeling and print creation
  • DFMEA/PFMEA Participation: Participate in Design FMEA and Process FMEA activities to ensure robust design and process controls
  • Design Review Preparation/Presentation: Prepare and present design reviews to stakeholders
  • Model Shop Requests: Support model shop requests and ensure accurate representation of designs
  • Build or Build Prototype Parts: Support build or build prototype parts as required
  • Tolerance Analysis: Perform tolerance analysis to ensure design meets specifications
  • Test Plans Creation: Create design verification test (DVT) and qualification test plans
  • Drawings Changes in SolidWorks/CREO/ZWCAD: Make changes to drawings in SolidWorks/CREO/ZWCAD to support UK MIL or General Market Controlled ECR/ECNs
  • Product Extensions/Drawing Changes/Engineering Quotes: Address requests for product extensions, drawing changes, and engineering quotes
  • SAP Part Extension/Costing: Handle requests to get part extended and costed in SAP
  • Expanded Bean Product Line: Support Expanded Bean Product Line for changes and product extensions

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
