Premier Recruit Ltd is currently recruiting for Van Drivers / Drainage Operatives to work on a Temp to Perm basis for a prominent Drainage Contractor based in the Kidlington area.
This role involves working as part of a 2-person team unblocking drains outside properties and on public highways. As a drainage operative, you will be responsible for maintaining drainage systems, ensuring the smooth flow of water and preventing flooding.
No experience is necessary for this role, as comprehensive training will be provided by our client. The first two days of employment will involve attending a Training Centre in Slough, fully paid.
This is a 12-week Temporary to Permanent contract, with the possibility of a permanent position following the temporary period. During this time, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the success of our client's business.
The salary for this position ranges from £11.75 to £17.50 per hour (overtime rates apply). A shift pattern of Monday to Friday, with every other weekend worked, ensures a stable income structure.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Your own vehicle to travel to work
- A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to engage in physical work
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
