Job Title: Retail Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team at Farmfoods. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading our shop team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the shop team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Take full responsibility for running the shop in the absence of the manager, ensuring that customers are looked after and shop routines are completed.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the team of retail assistants.
  • Take responsibility for the control of operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.
Requirements:
  • A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work.
  • To be a 'people person' who finds it easy to get on with everyone and build strong working relationships with the team.
  • To be trustworthy and reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team.
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or a similar industry would be beneficial, but we would still love to hear from you if you think you have what it takes to take the first steps in your retail management career.
