Join Our Team of Experienced School Chefs

We are seeking skilled and motivated School Chefs to support our school kitchens in Frome and surrounding areas. As a School Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals to students, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals for students
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and supplies
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve kitchen goals
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: £16.50-£18/hour
  • Flexible shifts between 6 to 8 hours, typically between 7:00 and 15:00
  • Daytime work, offering a great work-life balance
  • The opportunity to take on additional care home shifts to boost your income
  • Assistance with obtaining an Enhanced DBS check if needed
Requirements:
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (essential) - assistance available if you don't have one
  • Proven experience as a Chef, ideally in school or educational settings
  • Flexibility to work in different schools across Frome and nearby areas
  • Driving is beneficial but not required
