Care Worker for Children

Active Care Group is a leading provider of complex care services in the UK, delivering personalized support to children with complex health needs in their family homes.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at our client's home in Lower Beeding. This part-time role offers 25 hours per week, working Monday-Friday evenings (5pm-10pm). The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to a 3-year-old boy with complex health needs, enabling him to thrive in his own environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be kind, caring, and patient, with a passion for working with young children. As this role requires driving, you must hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle. We offer a competitive salary of up to £13.50 per hour, accrued holiday pay, and flexible zero-hours contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and support to the client
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the client and their family
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with colleagues
