Food Stop Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Food Stop Assistant to join our team at One Stop Head Office. As a key member of our canteen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold food, delivering buffets for meetings and training courses, and serving food in line with our canteen ways of working and portion control. You will also be responsible for operating the till, ensuring accurate sales recording, and maintaining a clean and tidy canteen seating area. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly due diligence routines, accepting and checking deliveries, and escalating any operational issues to the Food Stop Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quality hot and cold food
- Deliver buffets for meetings and training courses
- Serve food in line with canteen ways of working and portion control
- Operate the till and ensure accurate sales recording
- Maintain a clean and tidy canteen seating area
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly due diligence routines
- Accept and check deliveries
- Escalate any operational issues to the Food Stop Manager
Requirements
- Good understanding of health and safety and food hygiene
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Experience of balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working in a catering environment
- Ability to follow and accurately record routines for due diligence purposes
- Ability to be flexible to provide cover for sickness/holiday
Qualifications
- Level 2 Food Hygiene essential
- Level 3 Food Hygiene preferable
