We're seeking an accomplished Fashion Designer to join our team at our luxury atelier in South Kensington. Your expertise in tailoring and menswear design will shine through in your daily work as you craft unique suit designs tailored to each client's distinct personality and style.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultations: Collaborate with clients to understand their style preferences, fit requirements, and design vision, providing expert advice on garment construction, fabrics, and styling elements.
  • Design Development: Develop original suit designs, create sketches, select fabrics, and oversee customizations to align with the client's unique aesthetic and our brand's luxurious image.
  • Technical Design: Create detailed technical drawings and garment specifications to ensure seamless translation from concept to final construction.
  • Fittings & Pinning: Complete client fittings, making adjustments as needed to perfect fit, comfort, and style while working closely with the tailoring team to ensure accuracy.
  • Tailoring Project Management: Coordinate with our tailoring team to ensure suits are developed according to the client's preferences and designs, tracking each stage of the process to ensure timely completion.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with clients via phone or email to address inquiries, book appointments, and provide regular updates on the progress of their suit's construction.

This is a full-time role, 5 days a week, which may include weekends.

About You

  • Degree in Fashion Design or a related field with a focus on menswear or tailoring
  • Proven experience in menswear design, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in bespoke or made-to-measure fashion
  • Experience in taking measurements and understanding how to achieve the best fit
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in interacting with customers and ensuring a luxury personalized experience
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of EDI
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Right to work in the UK
