Southern Water is seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our Wastewater Treatment Team in the Hampshire region. As a key member of our frontline operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our wastewater treatment works and pumping stations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct compliance testing and maintenance tasks to ensure continuous plant operation.
- Repair and maintain alarm systems, and monitor and report data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize fault-finding and problem-solving skills to respond to breakdowns and maintain site hygiene in line with regulatory obligations.
- GCSEs grade 3 in Maths, English, and Science.
- Valid UK Manual Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and participate in a 7-day working week and standby rota.
- Adaptability, flexibility, patience, reliability, and self-motivation.
- Competitive salary package of up to £26,567.00.
