We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Support Coordinator to join our team at Look Ahead.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with customers, support workers, and other stakeholders to promote independent living and social inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and psychological support to customers to help them develop life skills and address challenging behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with support teams to develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote customer well-being and empowerment.
  • Support customers to participate in community activities, access education and employment opportunities, and maintain a high quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer progress, incidents, and interventions.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with customers with Autism/Behaviour that challenges.
  • Good IT skills and ability to use software applications relevant to the role.
  • Valid UK driving license.
