Toolmaker Specialist

Zenith People LTD is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our client's team in the North East. This permanent role involves working with production press/injection moulding tooling equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop production tooling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and rectify faults on tooling equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve tooling efficiency.
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with press and injection moulding machines.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of production tools.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Time-served and qualified to a minimum level of ONC/Time-served Apprenticeship.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing and all-round machining skills.
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances and experience with cylindrical grinding.
  • Good problem-solving skills and proficiency in PC software.
  • Flexible and adaptable with excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of recent post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Keen and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
